For this spring 2024, the Whale of Ruelles returns to the surface accompanied by a bouquet of colorful artists ready to do anything to make us laugh, dream and dance!
On Saturday May 4, 2024, from 14 p.m. to 3 a.m., Auriac-sur-Vendinelle gets down and invites us to the party.
And it’s going to shake! A great team of volunteers is putting together an explosive and very enjoyable edition where established artists and lively young artists mix, street theater and tender duets, swing songs and unbridled puppets. Some companies will even go so far as to defy the laws of gravity to move us and lead us towards the unusual and unexpected. Burlesque, madness, poetry, commitment. You will also have the pleasure of discovering an old-fashioned intergenerational eco-friendly ride. And for the end of the evening, a Brass Band concert nourished by Ethiopics, Afrobeat and equally impactful Progressive Rock. This in a DIY and recycled setting where nature takes over plastic and its allies of all kinds.
In short, 14 companies and 19 performances: a sparkling and lush edition nestled in the heart of Lauragais. Aficionados will happily rediscover what makes up the DNA of the festival: Madame Bulles, the cuddly toy pool, country strolls, our traditional wooden games without forgetting a funky and complicit bar team.
A party for everyone with free access. However, bring coins and notes. Your participation in the hat brings the festival to life and we thank you warmly!
