Cambiac castle was built at the beginning of the XNUMXth century on the ruins of a XNUMXth century building which had housed a small religious community and which was destroyed during the wars of religion.
The castle was built as a place of residence for Sieur Milhau, appointed constable of the Montauban region by Queen Marguerite of Navarre.
The entire part of the building dating from the 16th century is intact.
In the XNUMXth century, major expansion and embellishment works were undertaken, notably with the addition of a large quadrangular tower.
In the castle park, an XNUMXth century orangery and a small XNUMXth century well complete this architectural ensemble.
In the park, two trees are classified as Remarkable Trees of Haute-Garonne.
