Do you know the Toulouse Kir royal?

Extremely simple to make, this surprising and elegant recipe will offer a Toulouse touch to your aperitif.

Lovers of violets, you can compose your cocktail entirely from local products emblematic of the Midi Toulouse.

Recipe :

For a drink:

  • lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of violet flavored sugar
  • 3 or 4 crystallized violet petals
  • 20 ml of violet liqueur Benoît Serres or violet syrup (for a less alcoholic drink)
  • 180 ml of Crémant de Limoux
  • Dip the rim of your glass in the lemon juice.
  • Dab it in the violet-flavored sugar.
  • Place the crystallized violet petals at the bottom of the glass, as well as 1/10th of violet liqueur or syrup and 9/10th of very chilled crémant.
