Like many villages in Lauragais, the village of St. Leon experienced its share of misfortunes in the Middle Ages due to religious wars very destructive that have affected our region.

Conclusion Saint-Jacques church, burnt down in 1579, then demolished three times in 27 years is a perfect example.

The merry troop is not at its first attempt, and has already dragged its escafignons (medieval shoes) in some of the most famous festivals in the region: the Medieval ones of Cordes-Sur-Ciel, Montaner, Grand Pic-Saint-Loup and many others...

Grand tournament of chivalry at 16:30 p.m.

The Evol Mane Troupe will represent its show "The good, the bad and the Tostan".

You will appreciate this theatrical tournament combining skill tests on horseback, aerobatics and demonstrations of choreographed fights.

Jehan Serien, the storyteller with a thousand adventures

He is sometimes called Pascal Carbon, sometimes Le P'tit Pascal, Lancelot Du Seaux but also most often Jehan Serien... And he travels through the centuries! Prehistory, Antiquity, 17rd, 18rd century, and of course in the Middle Ages. This multi-faceted character immerses the audience in a fantastic world, that of fairies, elves, goblins, garden gnomes and magicians.

You will surely come across him in the streets of Saint-Léon, narrating his knightly fights or his fairy tales. You can call it Jehan, the elf or storyteller, or Lancelot du Seaux, the valiant knight.

The company of the ferret d'or and its medieval camp

This is the story of a band of medieval enthusiasts who decided to combine their efforts and their know-how to bring medieval culture up to date. Beyond the stories of castles and kings, these merry men especially want to share moments of play and conviviality around the habits, customs, and popular creative hobbies of the time.

The association will establish its camp in Saint-Léon and will introduce young and old to their historical games, the art of the coat of arms (heraldry) and their herbalism.

Mefia't, make way for music

How about adding a little power? The Mefia't group arrives with its speakers and its subwoofer to water just enough! When the wild women begin to tame their flames and interfere in the crowd to make it dance. The Mefia't concert is not rock, but it's not far!
