On the occasion of European Days of Mills and Grinding Heritage, the Six Wings Mill of Nailloux opens its doors to you and invites you to discover the most precious know-how of Lauragais through fun and educational workshops suitable for the whole family.

Throughout the afternoon, young and old alike can enjoy educational activities in a festive atmosphere. Numerous attractions await you:

- A mini educational farm

Discovering an emblematic heritage of Lauragais
Even though it is a reconstruction of an old mill which was located in the heart of the village of Nailloux until the beginning of the 20th century, the remarkable Moulin rouge with six wings of Nailloux retains its share of authenticity (the millstones are those of the original mill), and remains one of the rare witnesses of a not so distant era when the milling tradition made the Lauragais region rich.
Now, the Moulin de Nailloux comes alive during each school holiday, with guided tours accompanied by a bread workshop, from Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Exceptionally, this event will be free of charge during the afternoon on this holiday.
Professor Elixir
At the start of the performance, a few turns of the crank and... the strange tricycle transforms into a small open-air theatre!
Professor Elixir, doctor of everything... or almost, returns from a triumphant tour of the eastern lands and the southern seas and he is here today for you, at Nailloux mill.
He will try to convince the skeptics and the unbelievers by directly testing the effectiveness of his miraculous elixir on volunteers! Because he is the inventor of the elixir. He even gave it his name! With all due respect to Pemberton, the pharmacist who claimed to have invented the famous coca leaf drink...
His miracle elixir is UNIQUE! The One, the True, the Original has properties that others will never have! It makes hair grow and teeth shine, teeth grow and hair shine. With it, there's no need for laundry detergent, pest control, stripper, or even nail polish... The Elixir can do everything, repair everything, and wash everything!

A mini farm for children
What would the Lauragais countryside be without farm animals?
On the occasion of the Moulin de Nailloux Festival, a mini educational nomadic farm will be set up next to the mill.
Young and old alike will be amazed by the charming goats and the greedy little pigs. The donkey, the pony, the pigs, the sheep, the goats, the rabbits, the geese, and the chickens are waiting for your company to share caresses, laughter, and wonder.
A stone's throw from the farm, a straw maze will be set up. Can you find the way out?
