Set off to conquer the hills of Lauragais and open your eyes wide to their heritage! In spring and autumn, several guided hikes take place on the paths of our villages to retrace local history and learn about the plants around us.

A walk in good company!

At each meeting, a group of around thirty people meets and walks the paths around a common passion for walking and the landscapes of Lauragais.

To accompany these beautiful people, a tour guide de Lauragais Tourisme equips itself with walking shoes and all its knowledge to tell the story of the significant heritage events along the way. There is a lot to say about theHistory of Lauragais : its major dates, its emblematic characters and its tormented periods.

A naturalist guide then takes over to pass on his knowledge on the exceptional natural heritage of Lauragais. How to recognize plants? How to take care of it ? How to use them? His intervention always gives rise to numerous discussions.

Discovering the hiking trails

Each meeting highlights a hiking trail in Terres du Lauragais.
The trails are labeled “Short hiking route” by French Hiking Federation (FFRP).
The markings are codified and easy to identify, and the maintenance of the paths is very diligent throughout the year.

A joy for walkers!
