Located high up, Montesquieu-Lauragais developed around a castle which unfortunately no longer exists today. It was surrounded by a belt of ramparts and protected by ditches. The visit takes the form of a walk through the alleys: go back in time accompanied by your guide! From the Middle Ages with the Cathars to the Canal du Midi and the golden age of wheat, the various local themes will be discussed during the visit.
