This excursion to the Marès mill will take you to the heights of Avignonet-Lauragais.

The Moulin du Marès is the only one still visible of the many windmills that populated the hills of the Castrum d'Avignonet from 1240.
This mill was built just after 1790 and stopped filming in the 30s.
It was restored ten years ago: the roof and the wings are therefore not original.

Attached to the mill, the miller's house, now a beautiful dwelling.
The whole is private, visit from the outside.
