Built on a castle mound, Loubens-Lauragais is a charming village marked by the period of "blue gold", in other words the pastel trade, this deep blue dye which made the richness of Lauragais in the 10th century. Founded by the ancient Loubens family, the castle was rebuilt in the XNUMXth century. The castle can be visited for groups by appointment and also for individuals during European Heritage Days. The park, classified "Remarkable Garden of France", can be visited free of charge during "Rendez-vous au jardin" the first weekend of June .You will enjoy walking in the alleys of the village which have kept all their charm of yesteryear.
